I never tire of beautiful flowers and I am excited to share this kit with you.
Using a combination of simple stitches learn how to form abstract flowers and leaves to create a lovely art piece.
Each kit includes quality linen fabric with an outlined guide for your flowers, a carefully curated palette of hand dyed wool yarns, chenille needle, bamboo hoop, yarn threader, backing fabric, interfacing and instruction booklet.
The stitches you will learn are French knots, detached chain stitch, Pistil stitch and Turkey work. The instruction booklet gives tips and is flower examples but there is still plenty of scope for your own design and creativity.
Hand dyed yarns are beautiful to stitch with, they are very forgiving and also provide inspiration for further colour choices in your piece. Every stitch can be a surprise as colours appear and your flowers take shape.

Many of the more experienced stitchers who have come to my in person workshops can’t believe how uninhibited it is to stitch with these beautiful yarns and although they know the actual stitches, combining them in different ways is very fulfilling and they often come up with the most amazing combinations.
