Gasworks Arts Park - The Garden Studio
I’m very excited, my first felting workshop in Melbourne!
This is a wonderful first felting experience or a chance to explore and develop your own skills in felting with the inclusion of fabric.
Choose fabrics from my vast collection of silks, cottons, rayon and velvet for your collage piece. You will then learn the amazing technique of Nuno felting which seems to magically incorporate fabric and wool to create beautiful textures and colour.
Your piece can be framed or become a decorative feature on a bag, cushion or garment.
Nearly all materials and equipment provided. I would like you to bring a water bottle. This could be a 1l milk bottle with holes in the lid and sharp fabric scissors if you have them.
Please let me know if you have a colour preference in mind, write it in the comments when you pay. This would be really helpful as I am coming from Perth and bringing the materials, so the more I know, the better prepared I can be.

The closet parking for the Garden Studio is either Graham or Pickle Street. This is all day free parking. The pathways around the room are bluestone and can be uneven gravel and grass.
