Join me for a Friday evening at the lovely Nuno Nuno Store in Mont Albert.
Learn this very strong coiling technique to make use of unused fabrics and embroidery threads and make a beautiful small bowl, coaster or mat.
Choose fabrics from my collection of salvaged fabrics and upcycled garments and please feel free to bring along some of your own fabrics too.
Once you get the hang of coiling, it becomes a meditation and a purposeful way to give life to discarded fabrics and garments. This technique can be used with raffia, rope, grasses and anything you can twist.
All materials and threads provided.
